Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has taken a swipe at Vice President Yemi Osinbajo after the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari travelled all the way to London to present a bill to President Muhammadu Buhari for assent.
Kyari presented the amended Deep Offshore Act to Buhari in London on Monday, prompting some Nigerians to fault the decision, saying that Osinbajo should have signed the bill, rather than Kyari taking a trip to London.
Making a comment on the situation, the former aviation minister on his official and verified twitter handle said:
“How do you describe a VP that insists on remaining in office after his boss refuses to hand over power to him when he goes on leave and instead gets his Chief of Staff to fly over to London to sign legislative bills into law?”
“If your boss can’t trust you why are you still there?”
